Abbas beats Chiwawa in freestyle battle

The much publicized beef between Kenyan hip hop heavyweights Abbas Kubaff and Chiwawa came to a head on Friday at the Carnivore, as the two beefing MCs took to the stage and teared each other down with punchlines and clever disses that left the crowd yearning for more.

At the end of the battle,the crowd picked Abbas as the winner an outcome that did not go down well with Chiwawa who claimed that Abbas had pre-written content which he used in the battle.Chiwawa also charged that one of the judges involved in officiating the event was a personal friend to Abbas.

In the world of freestyle battles, it is generally considered a great dishonour to recite written and memorized raps because it shows the rapper to be incapable of 'spitting' spur-of-the-moment lyrics.

The beef between the two rappers who were once best friends has been ongoing for months now with many claiming that Abbas’s now former wife Baby Gangsta was the cause of the rift.

Despite the disputed results, fans were treated to a rare show which they will not be forgetting any time soon.
