  • Top Ugandan musician in big trouble

Kentv can now reveal the cause of the much-publicized separation between a top Ugandan male musician and his wife, was not a mere publicity stunt, but something far more grave. Very close sources to the family exposed that the musician has been sleeping with the wife's sister and now she is expecting his child!

Although rumours had it that the separation was meant to boost the musician's popularity through public sympathy, the revelation proves otherwise.

Latest sources indicate that the musician's wife is now filing for divorce. His new Range Rover Sport was also confiscated, but it's still unknown why.


  • Nakaaya gets an American boy

Former Tusker Project Fame contestant and now one of Tanzania's hottest female musicians, Nakaaya Sumari, just switched boyfriends. Nakaaya, dumped her former boyfriend Gaidi, and is now going out with M1, a member of American hip-hop duo Dead Prez.

After doing a collaboration song, 'Mr Politician', with M1, they started going out and it is rumoured that they met again in Copenhagen, Denmark, last December. That month, Nakaaya was able to sign a deal with one of the world's music distribution giants, Sony BMG. Was there any influence by M1? That is yet to be known. This week, Nakaaya will be meeting her new beau in Dubai, our reliable sources revealed, and will be jetting into Kenya next week.

M1, has already done a collabo with Kenya's Kalamashaka, and it is rumoured that he will also be coming here to do a second project with the larger Ukoo Flani Mau Mau, one of Kenya's biggest hip-hop groups..  

 

  • Redsan to perform with Beyonce

Following a successful Valentines show in Juba, South Sudan, last month, ragga heartthrob Redsan has managed to get a performance contract with America's reigning diva, Beyonce. According to reliable sources, Beyonce will be performing live in Juba, Khartoum and Johannesburg, at the end of this month. Contacted, Redsan said he is excited to be the only East African artiste to be contracted to curtain-raise for Beyonce.

"At the moment I can not give any more details until everything is finalized, but so far am very excited," Redsan said.
