Macain and Palin could have done Obama alot of damage but they did not do a proper job, they could have shredded him to bits. They are not hungry enough, they have no fire in their belly!Thats why they will lose. Nicole

So it now snows in Kenya, I can see some ambtious Kenya trying to sell snow next time to those areas that miss out! wanyoike.

Obama speech was truly outsatnding,he lived up to expectations. His speech will go down in history as one of the great ones. It is awesome that Americas potential president has kenyan blood running down his vains, we pray that he delivers and makes all proud. Ewanjala

Nicole you seem to be nuts about obama, do not forget Obama does not agree that life begins at conception and he is pro-choice which is far from what majority of Kenyans believe.maxwell

Bill Clintons speech beat all expectations! He came out with guns blazing and proves why he was a great president.I bet if he stood for president again he would win and I would be amongst his voters. Sure beats me why he could not get Hillary to win, it can only mean one thing, Obama is really good! Nicole

It is amazing the craziness emerging from the commission on elections as per todays news,28 Aug.How can election officers some of them graduates not know how to count and add, stuff that primary  kids can do! This is the joke of the year.MbeguS

Hillary Clinton speech was perfect and she played her part as expected. We pray Bill Clinton does the same for his own sake. The question she asked, if her supporters were in the race for her or for the vision of democrats hit the nail on the head for those who hate Obama. Nicole

It is time our leaders openly disowned African leaders who are not worth a pinch of salt.Bashir of Sudan has let thousands of his people suffer beyond human imagination. He should be condemed by all Kenyan leaders, it is time to turn a new leaf. mainakibe

Michelle Obama ticked all the right boxes in her speech and proved many wrong with her heart felt words. She played the role of a first lady in waiting without a hitch. Nicole

Amos Wako has been the AG for donkey years and has had little impact in succesfuly prosecuting the big fish. The ever smiling AG needs to be replaced by young blood as the counrty is moving on.Salim21

Congrats to our sports men & women for making Kenya shine at Olympics.Kenya needs to learn from Jamaica where competitive sports starts at grass roots level i.e. in schools all the way to international competitions.Bwangila

The AG is too soft on economic and political crimes and has passed his sell by date, can he be removed from the shelf. Kilimo

Are Rails`s and Kalonzo`s government officials or civil servants? I do not think they are and giving them almost half a million is a waste of my tax which I can hardly manage to pay with everything becoming so expensive! Ndonye

We know the duty of  the first lady which is very small, what do we need Kalonzo and Raila  wife's for? This is getting stupid and annoying. MugakaW

Who is Kalonzo`s wife? She is defiantly not a very public figure so why drag her out to something that she is not keen on! wanjala34

Karua comments in todays news 22 Aug on corrupt leaders being blocked from office must implemeted! misterfix

Kenya needs to move on from its past bottomless pit of corruption and an amnesty makes good sense. The futre is bright no need to get stuck inn the past.Anyona

So "hide and seek" Githongo wants us to forgive Goldenberg, Anglo-leasing and all the looters in Moi era.Why is the law and justice system crippled and lame. If the legal system can not prosecute all the looters how can we expect it to ever do any thing.Wesonga

Githongo is very right in calling for an amnesty of the never ending corruption cases bit the main thing is that all stolen public billions and properties are returned. We can prosecute and fail to get a coin back which will be a empty victory for Kenyans.pepekale

Akili za Githiongo zimepigwa na baridi ya ulaya! He has lost his marbles!makini

Githongo needs a top job like in the Kenya Anti- corruption organisation and Rails to give him a free hand to deliver what we have all waited for.KithomeW

All democracies are built on justice and the rule of law and countries like Kenya need to to follow legal structures to manage all aspects of life. That is why the prosecution of the election violence instigators should be a non issue. Throw the book at them. Ming12

People from different groups were involved in the election violence and all should face the law without favour or partiality. winstonK

Health is a critical thing and should not be trivialised with baseless arguments that can not hold water. If the cut reduces health risks then it is foolish to advocate any argumens. wangenia

What is wrong with Raila! How can we throw out our cultural beliefs and traditions due medical theories that are ever changing. If we were told to day that circumcision causes prostate cancer do you think communities that practice circumcision will stop their long held belief in the cut? We can not afford to lose our culture like Jamaicans or other blacks in the west who are neither African nor White! BNicholas.

Raila is a very brave man to tell uncut tribes to get the cut, very very brave man indeed. He might be asked to lead by example!Tito

Leadership means making tough choices and Raila has made one by asking uncircumcised communities to get a cut including his own community. But if common sense of  HIV dictates it then leaders must advocate the cut.Ogata67

Let us stop beating about the bush and make the cut compulsory at birth! same as inoculations kids get at birth.Kimeu

This circumcision business is terror for many men! I can see many men shaking in their boots or trousers!Mark

Raila are you sure you want our votes in 2012??? Nando

The programmes "Peace at any price.Kenya 6 months after elections" is a real reminder of something that has traumatised the Kenyan conscience and made us look at our selves as never before. It is a shame that no real efforts to heal communities are evident.Leaders from all segments of Kenyan life like NGOs,Churches,MPs etc need to make this a major priority and mobilise communities to bring healing. Wamoke Atisu

The programme on Peace at any price is has not done justice to the issue of healing. The government has also forgot the injustice Kabisa.Mewndwa

The elephants fought and the grass got trampled on. The elephants have moved on and the grass forgotten! Never trust and follow politicians blindly. Ming987

Raila seems to be geeting down to work in a serious way. While others are busy with non stop talk on presidency in 2012 Raila is busy building a track record as a national leader who can deliver. It is not time to spend the next 5 years talking, it is time to deliver and Raila is coming out on top. It also looks like Raila`s working relationship with Kibaki is excellent, this is the Kenya we want, not endless confrontations and never ending rivalry with zero development! wanjaumituma

Kenyan breaks record in swimming at Olympics! That is a great achievement and should make all proud. It also brings home the definition of who a Kenyan is as politics has completely messed up the definition of a Kenyan especially after our crazy elections. 8zingzang
